The cold Pacific weather moved out unseasonably quick and it’s looking like we can… MARCH forward with confidence into a wealth of Spring activities. This week we have an especially busy Saturday- with a morning of flea markets, afternoon sports, theatre, the symphony and a BIG night of arts in downtown Eureka!
(Don’t forget your rain jacket though, it is Humboldt County after all. )

SUNRISE, Watch hundreds of Aleutian Cackling Geese lift off their nighttime roosts. Every Saturday and Sunday in the month of March, the entrance gate will open 1/2 hour before sunrise. Meet at the Visitor Center, 1020 Ranch Road in Loleta. (707) 733-5406

4P, Join the Clarke Museum and associated organizations on a walking tour exploring the community played in creating the Humboldt County we know today. This is a walking tour that will consist of walking about a mile on mostly paved flat ground.
