AT HOME IN HUMBOLDT
WEEKLY EVENTS NEWSLETTER
The beautiful Summer Solstice came in with idealistic weather and… just like that, July is here! Humboldt County always seems to be in the spirit of keeping things interesting, so surely we can expect busy waterfronts and all the tourism during this popping Summer holiday. Our tourist driven businesses and local special events say “Bring it on!”
Friday is ushered in with a Hometown Crabs Baseball game versus the Sacramento Saints! (Full weekend schedule is posted below!) Saturday you can look forward to KMUD’s annual blockparty in Redway along with a busy Eureka Arts! Alive and even the return of your four-legged friends’ favorite Dog Party at the Humboldt Bay Social Club. Sunday moves us right into 4th of July celebrations, where you can grab brunch at the Veteran’s Hall in Arcata, or BBQ in Petrolia, and while you’re out and about be sure to swing by the Botanical Gardens to catch an afternoon show in their outdoor amphitheater.
Have a fun and safe Fourth of July everyone! Designate a friendly driver and
remember, wildfire season is right around the corner so be sure to play mindfully and observe your local fire regulations. Cheers!
