HEADWATERS BIRD WALK
8:30-11A, Join Wildlife Biologist and bird expert Ken Burton on a mile long walk on the Elk River Trail identifying bird walks. Many of the migratory birds cannot be seen, but are heard. Be guided by a wonderful journey through the Spring of sweet sounds. Headwaters Forest Reserve at the end of Elk River Road, 6 miles off U.S. Highway 101. CNPS SPRING NATIVE PLANT SALE
9A-4P, The California Native Plant Society (CNPS) invites everyone to the annual Spring Wildflower Show. This year’s theme is “Native Plants in the Neighborhood”. Help bring native plants into your garden and keep garden plants out of the wild.
(Plants are $5 for a 4-in pot, $10-$12 for 1 gallon, and $15 for 2 gallon pots). Freshwater Farms Reserve in Eureka.
