10A-4P The nonprofit Native Health in Native Hands of the Wailaki Tribe in Southern Humboldt, invites communities from Humboldt and surrounding Counties to the Food for Medicine Benefit at the Mateel Community Center in Redway. Special guests include well-known Indigenous musicians and educators, Dr. Lyla June and Desirae Harp, along with Native Health in Native Hands Development Director, Brian Dykstra, an avid farmer, botanist and native bee educator. Perspectives on personal, collective and ecological healing will be addressed with solutions. “We need to work together as a whole community” said Perry Lincoln, Executive Director at Native Health in Native Hands. Food Sovereignty Community Gathering. Local Foods, Speakers, Music, and more. Together we are deepening our understandings of relations with food, our world, each other. Indigenous educators/advocates/artists Lyla June and Desirae Harp! The Round Valley Feather Dancers ! NHNH botanist Brian Dykstra. Great local foods will be available !
10A-3:30P Spring is here and it’s time for a big BOOK SALE to celebrate!!. Friday’s sale is for members only, with memberships available at the door. Saturday’s sale is open to everyone. This sale will be especially strong in the areas of Art and History, as well as in the number and quality of the Children’s Books, CDs, and DVDs available for purchase. Many of the books on offer are in LIKE NEW condition. Sales are cash only, small bills appreciated. Proceeds from the sale will benefit the entire Humboldt County Library system.
SCIENCE AND NATURE YOUTH CAMPS
10A-5P Register now for youth camps in July-August. Registration is open until full. Each camp will be Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. for ages 4-9 at the Natural History Museum of Cal Poly Humboldt. Camp topics will include: Science Heroes, Pollination Planet, Wildlife Detectives, and From Dino Egg to Chicken.

10A Find a spot and watch classic cars, floats, horses, tractors, bands and more all decorated with pink and red blooms. The parade begins at Seventh and E streets. The theme is “Hometown Super Heroes” and will celebrate non-traditional heroes within the community. In Eureka.
WORLD HEALING WITH TAI CHI AND QIGONG DAY

10A Airport Day is a public event being hosted buy the Cal Poly Humboldt Aviation Club. We’re inviting people from all over the aviation community to fly in and exhibit their planes in a static display. Open to the Public, All Ages, Free Admission, Fun Activities. This event will feature The Humboldt Aero Modelers who will be displaying their model aircraft.

FERNS OF THE DUNES W/ CAROL RALPH
10A-12N Join naturalist Carol Ralph at the Lanphere Dunes Unit of the Humboldt Bay National Wildlife Refuge. She will introduce eight species of common ferns and discuss some of the amazing aspects of fern life. This is an easy walk of about 1/4 mile along the riparian edge of the dunes. SPRING GUIDED WALK AT GOULD GROVE
10:30A-11:30A Learn about the park’s cultural and natural history while being in it. Walk is 0.6 miles on a flat ADA trail. Meet in front of the Humboldt Redwoods State Park Visitor Center. Happening again Monday 5/22.

GAME OF THROWS – VETERAN’S BENEFIT CORNHOLE TOURNAMENT
11A-5P 2nd annual Game Of Throws tournament with Nations Finest benefiting local veterans in need. All proceeds donated, players will win prizes and there will be auction items and raffles throughout the day. Live DJ, food truck, canteen open for drinks. Family friendly, all ages and skill levels welcome! We raised $2700 last year and look to crush that this year! At Fortuna’s Veteran’s Hall/Memorial Building.

7P There’s a new Blues Fusion Dance night in Eureka! Every Tuesday night, Baywater Blues Fusion hosts a half hour lesson followed by social dancing. 4:30-6P Humboldt Sponsors announces it will hold its second annual “Kids are Winners!” Chicken Dinner Drive-thru Fundraiser – a benefit for Humboldt County youth at Faith Center Foursquare Church, located at 1032 Bay Street, Eureka. The dinner menu will feature BBQ chicken, macaroni salad, beans, a roll and dessert for the price of $25.00 per meal. Rex Bohn, Humboldt County supervisor, will serve as grill master. Dinner pre-orders are required, along with pre-payment, by Friday, April 28 (extended deadline).
