SUNRISE AT THE REFUGE – GEESE FLY OFF
SUNRISE, Watch hundreds of Aleutian Cackling Geese lift off their nighttime roosts. Every Saturday and Sunday in the month of March, the entrance gate will open 1/2 hour before sunrise. Meet at the Visitor Center, 1020 Ranch Road in Loleta. (707) 733-5406
FRIENDS OF THE FORTUNA LIBRARY ANNUAL BOOKSALE & DINNER
10A-7P, This fundraiser fills the building with used books. A drive-thru dinner of grilled chicken, twice-baked potatoes, and salad is also available, cooked by Milton Conley.
